외국인을 위한 한국어 정음법
The methodology of correct Korean pronunciation described is based on Radiofilm's croquis. Eight vowels were classified by the place and manner of articulation. Nineteen consonants classified by stops, affricated and fricative consonants, and two semi-consonants, were contained in this category. A dialectal speaker from Seoul participated in this study. An Arriflex 35mm Radio-film camera was used in the experimentation and a Bell & Howell projector was used to draw the frames of selected static articulators during utterances. Laryngeal fiberscopic images corresponding to the closed phase of stop consonants show the glottal gestures of three different types of Korean stops. Pronunciation drills were composed of phonemic levels, word levels and sentence levels.
